House System

At St George's, every child belongs to one of our four school houses: George, Dragon, Saint and Knight. From the moment they join our school family, children work together to earn house points by demonstrating our vision, 'Let your light shine', and living out our values of courage, commitment, community, compassion and love.

Our houses encourage teamwork, belonging and healthy competition through learning, sport, enrichment and acts of kindness. Together, children celebrate one another's successes, support their teammates and discover that everyone has something special to contribute to their house.

House Captains

Our House Captains are positive role models who lead and inspire their house teams throughout the school year. Elected by their peers, they demonstrate the British Value of democracy while developing leadership, confidence and responsibility.

House Captains encourage participation, celebrate achievements and help organise house events and competitions, ensuring every child feels included and proud to represent their house. They lead with kindness, fairness and integrity, inspiring others to demonstrate our vision of 'Let your light shine' through courage, commitment, community, compassion and love.
