At St George's, we value and celebrate the rich linguistic and cultural diversity within our community. English as an Additional Language (EAL) refers to pupils who speak a language other than English at home and are learning English alongside their studies.

We recognise that bilingualism and multilingualism are strengths. Our aim is to ensure that all EAL learners feel confident, included and supported to achieve their full potential.
